Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the recording of Pharaoh’s Dream’s 1st CD featuring David Nathan (a follow up to David’s first solo album, the 2003 set, “Reinvention”), we present an expanded edition of “Wistful Elegance.”

All of the tracks from the original set have been remastered and in addition, there are four bonus tracks.

Special guests include Will Downing, Najee, Kenny Lattimore, Thelma Jones, Lynne Fiddmont, Peggi Blu and Johnny Britt, with primary production by Preston Glass (who wrote the title track for David personally).

Key tracks include distinctive versions of classics popularized by The Stylistics, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Heatwave, Stephanie Mills, The Spinners, The Moody Blues, Jean Terrell, Merry Clayton and Nina Simone; with five original songs including one of David’s first recordings, “Who Stole The Moon.”

A very special addition to the CD was a loving tribute to David’s work as a vocalist on the album by the incomparable Roberta Flack, reprinted here for the first time since the physical release (long out of print).
